‘So they rose early in the morning and went out into the Wilderness of Tekoa; and as they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Hear me, O Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem: Believe in the Lord your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper.”’
II Chronicles 20:20 NKJV
Are you experiencing a yo-yo kind of life? One day you are cruising in your career, business, studies or any of your enterprises - the next day you are in a crisis and every gain has spirited away. Have you run out of ideas what to do? Do you come across breakthroughs only to lose them? If these describe your life, you are not alone. There are many who cannot keep anything that is good. They marry only to divorce later. Some get that dream job, only to get fired for no fault of their own. Some get that financial breakthrough from a lucrative contract, only to get bankrupt in no time. This kind of life is an error for any of God’s children. It does not have to be your portion.
The above passage talks about being established. The dictionary defines establish as “set up on a firm or permanent basis”. What makes a difference is where your trust is and what or who you believe in. 2 Chronicles 20, reveals the truth which your adversary does not want you to know. If we believe in God, everything we achieve shall be firm and permanent. Servants of God pronounce God’s word upon you or reveal God’s plan for your life. If you believe the message spoken you will see it manifest. But we are not to turn our attention and loyalty to the messenger rather, the source of the message. Your success can be permanent. All you need is a radical and stubborn belief in God, leaving no room for doubts. Trust in His ability to finish and sustain what He has begun.
Declaration:
If you believe, lay your hand on your own head and make this confession:
I declare in the name of Jesus that my miracles will be permanent. My marriage will be permanent. My healing will be permanent. My employment will be permanent. I will not be bankrupt. I will not lose my miracle and above all, I will not backslide.
Prayer:
“Lord, I thank you that when I believe in You I am established. I will not lose my miracles. What I have received, the devil cannot take away from me. My present and future promotions shall be permanent. My marriage shall be permanent. Everything good I received shall be permanent. I am not letting go of what I received. I will not backslide. I shall occupy until the return of my Savior. In the name of JESUS, Amen.”
