13 But He answered and said, “Every plant which My heavenly Father has not planted will be uprooted.”
Matthew 15:13 NLT
I looked up the meaning of the word “uproot” and found that it means removing something from its position completely, leaving nothing behind. Although the origin of the word has to do with trees and the like, it applies to other objects as well. Jesus told His disciples that everything that is not planted by Our Father will be uprooted. “Everything” means nothing is exempted, regardless of how long it has been there. You are God’s premium possession. God would not permit anything not planted by Him to occupy space in you, whether sickness, anxiety, or anything else. That growth in your body, be it fibroid or any other parasite, is not supposed to remain. When Jesus said it will be uprooted, He was not speculating but stating the unshakable truth.
In Mark 11, Jesus cursed a fig tree, and as a result, it dried to the roots. The effect was not immediately visible, but things were happening underground. Verse 20 states that when the disciples passed by the same place the next morning, they noticed that the tree was dry to the roots. In verse 21 the bible says the following:
“21 And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away”.
Note that as Peter remarked, it was not just any other tree which dried down but the one which was cursed by the Lord. Whatever the enemy planted in your body can only remain for as long as you allow it by not acting against it. Evil plantations which you do not curse will not leave you voluntarily.
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, I believe in your word that if I command a mountain to throw itself into the sea and not doubt, it will be done for me. Right now, I command every growth, sickness, ungodly habits, addictions and any other instrument of the enemy in my body to die to the roots and be uprooted. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
